Growing up with my mom who was a farmer and who always had to cook for her large family was the pastime. The love for cooking homemade and fresh foods was the ritual.This culinary business started over 20 years ago in the village of Wesley with the restaurant Crab hole which was later renamed Tasie Snackette. The spot to be on the weekend for all the local Delites such as fish water,stewed turkey,souse, callalou, etc oh and do not forget the tantalizing juices and invigorating punches.
The passion never left me even after residing in the USA for over 20 years.Having friends and family over at my place I always treated them with my local delicacies. Business was always part of my DNA.Living in Brooklyn with the influx of Caribbean who longed to feel close to home by partaking in local cuisine. Taz Delite was reignited with the making of cakes which are sold on order and the preparation of breakfast for friends and family on Labor Day. The preparation of juices and punches in 2019 was rebirth when friends and family got so fascinated with the tasting of the treats.Finally, Taz Delites finally evolved as the supplier of local juices,punches and cakes.Real juice for real people.
